Any inquiries regarding access should first be directed to your organization's Org Admin.
Roles are the jobs that your users are given within the ResourceAdvisor+ platform, and they are defined by the permissions granted to them. Setting correct permissions is critical to running an effective team and maintaining clear guardrails.
By default, ResourceAdvisor+ comes with three built-in roles: Org Admin, Org Manager, and Org Member. Many organizations will find that these roles are sufficient for defining permissions for their users. For those organizations that require additional permission definition or granularity, custom roles can be created.
Creating a role
To create a new role, navigate to Configure > User Management > Roles, and click the +New Role button.
You may opt to copy role permissions from an existing role, which may expedite the process. To do so, toggle the Copy from existing field to Yes, and select the role you would like to copy from the dropdown.
Whether copying from an existing role or not, provide a Name and Description for the role, and click the Continue button to move to the next step.
Select all of the permissions that you would like to apply to the role. Some permissions (like Create) require additional related permissions (like View) to operate effectively and will automatically toggle on permissions that are required by your permission elections.
When you have selected all of the necessary permissions, click the Create Role button to finish creating the role.

Managing roles
In the Roles tab, the table shows each role currently utilized in the company account, displayed alongside the full list of permissions, each user's Status will appear as Pending until they have accepted the invitation from the sent email.
You can Search for any role using the search bar or utilize the Filter button to better refine the list of roles you are viewing.
Select the filter dimension you would like to apply to the list of roles and click the Apply button to apply it.
Editing a role
You may need to edit a role's specific information. To do so, find the role in the Roles table, click the ... button, and click the Edit button.
Both the Name and Description can be updated, alongside the full list of specific permissions. Make any necessary changes and click the Save Changes button.
Deleting a role
To delete a role from the account, navigate to the Roles tab, find the role in question as a column in the table, click the ... button, and click the Delete button.
You will be prompted to confirm that you wish to delete the role. To proceed, click the Delete button.
