This reference summarizes available options, fields, statuses, and behaviors for the User Management area so you can quickly look up details without walking through step-by-step tasks.
Module Structure
- All users: Add users manually or via bulk upload; view/manage status; edit or deactivate users (with permission).
- Role Management: Permissions organized by category; three default roles; create custom roles via +New Role; copy permissions from existing roles.
- Groups: Create New Group; Configuration (roles, users); Access (hierarchy via entity tree).
User Statuses
- Pending: Invitation sent; user has not logged in yet.
- Active: User has logged in previously.
- Deactivated: User cannot access the platform.
Invitations
- Automatically sent when users are added manually or via bulk upload.
Bulk Upload
- Formats: CSV or Excel.
- Fields: email (required); first name, last name (optional).
- Flow: Bulk upload users → Download template → Upload Template.
Roles
- Defaults: Three default roles are available.
- Creation: Name and description required; can copy from existing; permissions in categories.
Groups
- Behavior: Users gain permissions via roles; hierarchy access defines where permissions apply.
- Controls: Configuration (roles, users); Access (entity tree for hierarchy).
